This is a great little stop off. Has bathroom and connects to trails along the Knife River. Venture further into Knife River to the restored train depot or to Rock Beach on Lake Superior.

Along the Voyageur Highway north of Duluth, this rest area has a large parking area for cars, RVs and trucks. There is a restroom building that is quite basic but it gets the job done. I spent...
