Kathryn J. Ruddy, M.D.

Alfredo L. Clavell, M.D., is a cardiologist and medical director of the Heart Transplant Program within the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His primary clinical interests include congestive heart failure, heart failure, heart valve disease, neurohumoral modulation in heart failure and nonpharmacologic therapies for heart failure.

Dr. Alberts received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Travis E. Grotz, M.D., is a surgical oncologist at Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Grotz treats cancers and conditions including gastrointestinal cancers, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, metastatic colorectal cancer, soft tissue sarcomas, and peritoneal metastasis. He is an expert in minimally invasive approaches to gastrointestinal malignancies, including robotic and laparoscopic cancer surgery, hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) surgery and innovative reconstructive options such as J-pouches (neo-stomach) and stomach-preserving cancer operations such as proximal gastrectomy. Dr. Grotz has a special interest in the development of novel or improved therapies to prevent or minimize postoperative complications in patients undergoing complex sarcoma, peritoneal or gastrointestinal cancer surgery.
