Karpeles owns collections that rotate every four months. Science, art, philosophy, religion, and music are some of the subjects found at this manuscript museum. One of 7 locations in the U.S., this renovated Church built in 1912 holds beauty as well as history near the shores of Lake Superior. Admission is always free. We tried to visit this museum during posted hours but the doors were locked and no one answered the phone. Disappointed.
