Jackson Elementary School

Como Park Senior High School, located in St. Paul, Minn., offers a college preparatory curriculum to more than 1,400 students in grades nine through 12. It offers a variety of opportunities for development of the students, in and out of the classroom. Its courses include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical and health education, humanities, computer science and a choice of more than 15 electives. Many of its courses are designated to meet the diverse needs of students across a broad range of abilities, interests and post-high school aspirations. It offers extracurricular activities that include music programs, more than 30 clubs and activities ranging from athletics and yearbook to peer mediation. Como Park Senior High School is one of the Saint Paul Public Schools.

Established in 2000, Bruce F. Vento Elementary School offers a variety of student services, such as Schoolwide Enrichment Model, gifted enrichment, special education, counseling, all-day kindergarten, English Language learner, bilingual, high standards and instrumental music. Located in St. Paul, Minn., the school s library provides a large collection of books, newspapers and encyclopedias. Its athletic department offers various sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball and tennis. Bruce F. Vento Elementary School also provides classes in health and physical education. It also has a counseling and guidance department for students, parents and teachers. The school provides a program in arts that includes drawing, coloring and painting classes. The school has more than 150 computers in the several technology labs. It also has flat-screen monitors, projector screens in library and teacher and classroom presentation computers.
