Established in 1891, Itasca is Minnesota's oldest state park. It totals more than 32,000 acres and includes more than 100 lakes. Walk across the Mississippi as it starts its journey 2,552 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. Camp under the stars, or stay the night at the historic Douglas Lodge or cabins.

Beautiful park. Well kept from what we stopped and saw. Nature is amazing and we got to see some cool stuff. Walked around in the water and headwaters of the Mississippi.
