Initiative Foundation

Established in 1986, the Initiative Foundation is a nonprofit, philanthropic organization that works to improve the quality of life in more than 10 counties and over 150 towns in central Minnesota. Its focus areas include economic opportunity, key places and natural resources, organizational effectiveness, fund development, and children, youths and families. The Initiative Foundation offers a variety of services to individuals, businesses, communities and nonprofit organizations in areas related to leadership training, financial investments, staff assistance and resource referral. The agency oversees a professional staff of nearly 25 employees. It helps nonprofit organizations to manage critical financial resources and recruit board members and volunteers, as well as assess the current state of their organization. The Initiative Foundation is located in Little Falls, Minn.
