Houston County Offices

Houston County Personnel is a county government agency that provides employee recruiting/retention programs and services for county departments in Houston County in Minnesota. The office supports all Houston County divisions and departments in the areas of staffing, recruitment, hiring, compensation, position reclassification, grievance and disciplinary action, employee relations, personnel records, employee benefits, staff development and training, labor relations, risk management, equipment/supplies purchasing, information systems, courthouse utility and vendor contracts and other employment issues. The department is located in the County Courthouse in Caledonia, Minn. Houston County is located in extreme southeast Minnesota and has a population of nearly 20,000 residents.
