Founded in 1957, HealthPartners is comprised of a group of companies that serves more than 1 million medical and dental health plan members throughout the United States. It is one of the largest consumer-governed, nonprofit health care organizations in the U.S. that provides care, coverage, research and education to improve the health of members and patients, as well as the community. HealthPartners oversees a staff of over 10,000 employees. It offers tiered network, co-pay, deductible, self-insured, senior and individual plans. In affiliation with CIGNA, the organization provides national health plan coverage. HealthPartners operates various hospitals and medical and specialty clinics. It has received an award from the National Research Corporation.
