Great Lakes Gas Transmission is an interstate natural gas pipeline system with an impressive design capacity of approximately 2,400 million cubic feet per day. It connects the abundant natural gas resources of western Canada to major industrial and market centers across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and eastern Canada, while also interconnecting with various natural gas storage centers and other interstate pipelines.

Commencing operations in 1967, Great Lakes originates near Emerson, Manitoba, and terminates near Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and St. Clair, Michigan. The system is operated by a subsidiary of TC Energy Corporation, with TC PipeLines LP owning a significant stake in the partnership.
