Lake Superior's beauty is waiting for you at Grand Marais municipal campground. Picturesque Grand Marais, Minnesota has been voted Number 5 in Lake Superior Magazine's Top 10 Destinations. We are located off of Highway 61 and Eighth Avenue West on a peninsula surrounded by the Harbor on one side and Lake Superior on the other. The campground is easy walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, and the North House Folk School. We offer 300 campsites: 141 full-hookup sites with electric, water and sewer; 102 water and electric sites and 57 primitive campsites with lakeviews or private wooded sites. Large group campsites are also available. Campers have free use of the RV dump. Four bath houses provide campers with hot showers and flush toilets.
