How Does a Bail Bond Work? A Bail Bond is formally known as a “Surety Bond.” A friend, relative, attorney, or defendant pays us a fee for the Bail Bond and we put up the rest. Once the Defendant is released, their responsibility is to attend the hearings for that case. What is the Process? A friend, relative, attorney, or the defendant will contact Goldberg Bail Bonds. During the initial conversation we will collect basic information. Once the paperwork is done and the bond is paid, we post the bond.
