Glenwood Cemetery, established in 1869, is the oldest cemetery in Mankato, MN, and is governed by a Board of Directors. The cemetery spans approximately 25 acres of meticulously maintained lawns, featuring majestic oak and maple trees, many of which are over 100 years old.
Offering a variety of burial services, including cremation interment and numerous lot options, Glenwood Cemetery is the final resting place for many of Mankato's founding families and over 100 Civil War veterans. The historic mausoleum, built in 1912, showcases recently restored features and is open to visitors during Memorial Day services and by appointment.
