Founded in 1960, Gander Mountain is a chain of retail stores that offers hunting, fishing, camping, marine and other outdoor recreational products and services. It operates more than 110 stores in over 20 states. Gander Mountain offers a range of sportswear for men, women and children, as well as camouflage and blaze orange fieldwear. In addition to hunting and fishing licenses, some of its stores also sell wakeboards, water skis, wetsuits, kayaks, canoes, all-terrain vehicles and boats. It has partnership with Camping World, which is one of the world s largest suppliers of recreational vehicle accessories and camping equipment. Gander Mountain is a member of the American Sportfishing Association and the International Hunter Education Association. Headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., the company maintains a location in Hermantown, Minn.
