Fridley Engineering Department provides a wide variety of services related to the construction and design of the city s capitol projects and subdivision development. The department develops plans, sets specifications and determines estimates for capital improvement and safety programs. The department provides technical support in the form of surveys, drafting, research and utility location for the development of improvement plans, construction and safety programs for the city. Its staff is responsible for the design and construction of streets, sewers, storm water facilities, water lines and sidewalks.
