The Colorado Historical Society, also known as CHS, is a nonprofit agency that has been operational since 1879. It conducts exhibitions and educational programs. The society exhibits photograph collections and offers historical and archaeological preservation services for children and adults. The Colorado Historical Society preserves and interprets the history of Colorado. It operates more than 10 historic sites and museums in over five locations. The society has nearly 125,000 artifacts and historical documents. The Colorado Historical Society additionally offers museums on a rental basis. It provides an internship program and conducts workshops. The society also offers the History Express Saturday programs.

Excellent. Great stop for families. Interpreters/actors do a fine job describing life onn a northwoods logging camp.
