SMDC Health System is one of the largest health care providers that operates more than 20 clinics, four hospitals and several specialty care services in the state of Minnesota. It has a staff of more than 6,500 employees and physicians. SMDC Health System is accredited by the Minnesota Medical Association to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. It focuses on applied research at the patient, provider and community levels.
