Duluth Transit Authority

The Duluth Transit Authority is an organization that provides transportation services. It maintains a fleet of more than 60 buses that offers transportation services for over 20 routes. The organization provides regular route services for individuals with disabilities. The Duluth Transit Authority was founded in 1969 by the Minnesota State Legislature. The organization has an agreement with ATE Management and Services for its operation and management. The Duluth Transit Authority also offers safety tips to drivers. It provides transportation services for the University of Wisconsin-Superior, College of St. Scholastica and Lake Superior College. The organization additionally offers bus services for elementary, middle and high schools. The Duluth Transit Authority provides unlimited ride passes for adults and teenagers. Its transit stops include Downtown Transit Center, Third Avenue East Bus Stop, Miller Hill Mall Door Eight Bus Stop and UMD Kirby Plaza Bus Stop.
