History
The Starbuck DQ was built in 1953 but due to health reasons the original owner had to sell it after three years. Dale and Shirley Anderson were given the opportunity to purchase it at the same time they had deceided to get married. They decided to get married and start Dairy Queen school the very next day. They also decided to forgo a large wedding and a honeymoon to give 100% to their new venture.Dale and Shirley have since passed away but their son Todd took over ownership in 2007 and continues to run it to this day.
