Coon Rapids High School offers educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. Located in Coon Rapids, Minn., the school has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students. Its curriculum includes advanced placement, honors and basic courses. The school s student services professionals include psychologist, prevention specialist, nurse, minority student advisor and mediator. Its fine arts programs include band, orchestra, choir, theater, debate, speech and art club. It has athletic teams for different sports, including baseball, basketball, cross country, tennis, cheerleading, football and tennis. Just found it to be a lack luster school. Remembered a lot of underpaid teachers not caring and policies that were made by incompetent people.

Attended CRHS for one year and had a great time. It is an older school, like most in the district, but still has pretty nice facilities.

Sojourner Truth Academy

Established in 1999, Sojourner Truth Academy is a public charter elementary school that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs for students. The school has an enrollment of more than 265 students. It provides instruction in Spanish, art, physical education and music. Sojourner Truth Academy also offers classes in computer technology, math, social studies, language arts and science. It offers special education, after-school enrichment and ESL programs, as well as conducts regular parent-teacher meetings, conferences and social events.
