Connections to Independence (C2i) is a Minneapolis-based organization dedicated to supporting youth in foster care, specifically those aged 14 to 24, by providing tailored programming and advocacy to facilitate their transition to independent living. C2i collaborates with permanent placement providers, community-based organizations, and counties to create a network of resources that empower youth to achieve their dreams and aspirations.

With a focus on five core competencies—financial literacy, housing, employment, education, and personal wellness—C2i aims to equip foster care providers with essential knowledge and tools to enhance their caregiving journey. The organization values community engagement and seeks to connect with local leaders to further its mission of fostering successful and healthy transitions for youth in care.
