The Woodbury Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of public infrastructure systems. It operates engineering, street, utility and central garage divisions. The department s engineering division prepares feasibility reports and performs inspections for capital improvement projects. Its utility division operates and maintains wells, water storage facilities, sanitary sewer lines, lift stations and fire hydrants within the city. The Woodbury Public Works Department also offers a range of maintenance services for streets, traffic signals, regulatory signs and pavement markings. Its central garage division is responsible for the purchase, maintenance, repair and replacement of city-owned vehicles and equipment. The department is located in Woodbury, Minn.
