City of St. Paul's Planning and Economic Development administers a variety of planning, housing, business and economic development activities. It supports several neighborhood initiatives and also provides direct benefits to homeowners, homebuyers, renters and businesses. City of St. Paul's Planning and Economic Development works in association with community and neighborhood partners to improve the economic condition of the city. The department works with the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) to administer a variety of housing programs and financial resources. Additionally, it offers programs for minority business development and mortgage foreclosure prevention. City of St. Paul's Planning and Economic Development, in partnership with the city government, public schools and philanthropic organizations, offers a range of academic and career counseling programs.
