General Mills Federal Credit Union, established in 1935, has served the employees and families of Gold Medal Flour Mill. Located in Minnetonka, Minn., the union offers a wide range of financial products and services to its members. It is a nonprofit financial cooperative owned by members. It is a federally chartered credit union regulated by the National Credit Union Association, which insures every member s funds up to $100,000. General Mills Federal Credit Union also provides additional coverage of up to $250,000 through the Excessive Share Insurance Corporation, a licensed property and casualty insurance company. The union offers various deposit services, including savings, checking, certificates, and individual retirement accounts and investment services.
