About Children's Day Montessori Children's Day Montessori ( CDM ) began in St. Cloud, Minnesota as Learning Day Montessori in 1982. In 1990, the school became a non-profit organization directed by a board of parents and staff and is affiliated with the American Montessori Society. We offer a four-hour morning Montessori program in three separate communities all taught by Montessori certified teachers.
