History

In 1934, F.C. Atwood founded Atwood Land Company. In 1954, Mr. Atwood's son, Charles Atwood joined the firm and founded Atwood Realty in 1965. Charles Atwood and George Smith purchased a CENTURY 21 franchise in 1976. Charles Atwood's son Tom joined the company in 1983. In 1984, Tom became a Broker with the firm and took over the management of both companies in 1986. In 2007, Tom's second-oldest son, Andrew joined Atwood Property Management. Followed by his oldest, Matthew in 2009 and In 2011, Tom's youngest Michael joined CENTURY 21 Atwood. Thus began the fourth-generation legacy. In August of 2013, after a lengthy illness, broker/owner Thomas Atwood sadly passed away. In 2017, we opened the first branch office in Saint Peter, Minnesota. In 2018, CENTURY 21 Atwood acquired offices in Isle, Onamia, Garrison, and Duluth Minnesota. Growth, diversity, quality customer service and high ethical standards have always been an integral and consistent part of the Atwood Companies
