History

Cedarhurst Historic Country Estate, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was the summer home of Cordenio Severance, a prominent Minnesota attorney. For more than a century, Cedarhurst has played a leading role in Minnesota's social and political history by welcoming guests of world prominence including 4 U.S. Presidents (Roosevelt, Harding, Coolidge and Taft) and foreign dignitaries.
