Burn Aid Foundation
The Burn Aid Foundation, established in 1997 by volunteers from the MN Chapter of the National Fire Sprinkler Association, collaborates with the MN State Fire Marshal's office and Regions Hospital to host an annual golf event. This initiative raises funds to benefit the Regions Hospital Burn Center, officially becoming a 501(c)(3) charity in 2018, and operates solely through volunteer efforts.
Over the years, the foundation has contributed more than $1.9 million to support burn survivors, enhance burn injury care, and raise awareness. Funds raised through the event have also been used to purchase equipment for the Burn Center and facilitate camps for burn survivors in Northern Minnesota and Colorado.
