Fosston Tri-Coop, established in August 1935, is a farmer-owned cooperative located in northwest Minnesota, specializing in the handling of various agricultural commodities including wheat, corn, soybeans, barley, sunflowers, oats, rye, and edible beans. The cooperative also provides a comprehensive range of agronomy services, such as crop protection products, crop nutrients, seed, custom application, and soil sampling. In 1965, Fosston Tri-Coop expanded its operations with the construction of a Certified Seed Plant, and in 2006, it incorporated the McIntosh Elevator, which boasts a grain storage capacity of 170,000 bushels and an 800-ton fertilizer plant.
