Blue Heron was a wonderful bed and breakfast for my wife and I to spend the night in after a cold afternoon dog sledding. We stayed in "That" and enjoyed the comfortable bed and giant jacuzzi....

A cozy stay with great amenities and great hospitality super close to the BWCA. The location is beautiful and the price is excellent for what you get. Spacious rooms and delicious breakfast.

If you need serenity and quiet this is the place for you! It is by far the best place to stay in Ely. The breakfast was good, bed comfortable and the lake is beautiful. Canoes available for use.

I'm tempted not to write a review, so that the Blue Heron won't get too popular and hard to book. This place is fantastic. The owners are amazing, the breakfasts way too much to eat but too good...
