Stopped in Birchwood Char House & Bar for a quick lunch. We sat at the bar. Bartender was quick and friendly. I had a taco salad. Basic but delicious. Never seen a taco bowl shell like theirs...

This restaurant used to be called the Riverhouse for years. We changed the name in 2013 as we were doing a lot of updates. But did keep the Popovers!

Food was very good. Steak was cooked properly. Service was very good. Wine options limited. Walleye and steaks were enjoyable.

Went after a bike ride, and I was pleasantly surprised, great service, food was great, we had the tatchos, way good.
