Step back in time at this majestic brewery, nestled in the wooded hillside overlooking the Cottonwood River. Established in 1860, this 150+ year old brewery is nationally renowned for its award winning beers, with varieties to fit everyone’s tastes. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, complete with wandering peacocks. The Visitors Center houses the Museum of Brewing, Gift Shop and a beautiful old-world style Rathskellar Tap Room (open for tours only). Public and private tours available; call for current details. During the summer months, visit the outdoor Bier Garten under the majestic walnut trees and enjoy fine Schell’s beverages. Live music on Sundays only. (open weather permitting). The first weekend of November features a Christmas Open House.
