Updated September 2013 Dr. Reba F. King purchased the business from Michelle Kalina in September 2013. Dr. King was a long time customer of About Face Beauty Inc. She knew she needed to carry on the legacy of bringing cosmetic and skin care lines that aren't readily available to the customers in the Rochester area as well as visitors from around the world. Owner, Michelle Kalina, moved to Rochester from New York where anything and everything was always readily available. Quickly sensing a need in Rochester for an upscale beauty boutique, she scouted out a location and opened About Face in Downtown Rochester. As the city and the clientele expanded, the downtown location outgrew its space. In February 2013, she closed the downtown location and relocated to the new Shoppes on Second. About Face carries THE BEST in cutting edge beauty, skincare and fragrance brands as well as jewelry and accessories.
