Founded in 1969, Abhe & Svoboda Inc. is a privately owned and open-shop company that has performed projects with single contract amounts in excess of $20 million. The company is one of the largest industrial painting contractors in the United States. Its core competencies include a variety of related construction services, such as concrete and steel repair and replacement. Abhe & Svoboda Inc. has worked on a variety of large civil infrastructure projects, such as airports, bridges, dams, highways and petrochemical facilities. Its recently completed projects were Naval Communications Station, Exmouth, Australia and Yaquina Bay Bridge, Newport, Oregon. The company is a member of the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC). It is a QP1 and QP2 certified contractor.
