Founded in 1989, Tru Tech Systems designs and manufactures precision computer numerical control grinding machines. Its range of products also includes accessories, such as indexable base plate bushings, sine bars, clamps and pressure roll bearing adjustment screws. The company provides contract grinding services for clients in the aerospace, electronic and medical industries, as well as small component manufacturers. Tru Tech Systems machines are equipped with the Pick-N-Place software, which accelerates part programming. The company has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification. Its clients include Rite-Way Industries, Ideal Grinding Technologies, Voisard Tool Service, Mistiquay Group and Spartan Carbide. Tru Tech Systems serves clients in the United States and Canada, as well as Europe.

Operational since 1956, Sidley Diamond Tool Company has been designing and manufacturing industrial diamond and cubic boron nitride (CBN) products. The company serves various markets, such as automotive, bearing, aerospace, aircraft, agricultural, metalworking and machine tool. It is an ISO 9001:2000 certified and ANAB accredited company. Sidley Diamond Tool Company strips and replates wheels of various manufacturers. In addition, the company manufactures a variety of single point tools, such as straight shank, concave radius, hex head, thread grinding and indexable head.

Modern Cam & Tool was started by my father, Don Bitters, in 1971. He had previous experience in the screw machine industry as general manager of a company named Modern Collett. Modern Collett was a screw machine rebuilder and parts supplier for many years. Eventually the owners of the Modern Collett decided to abandon what they saw was a dying industry and sold the assets of to my father, who renamed the business. We have no doubt benefited from the acquisition of several Mazak horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers, developing our own proprietary cam generating software, acquiring new technology such as our Romer PCMM and Stratasys Dimension 3D printer. However, I believe we have benefited most from the lesson of my father's unwavering commitment to providing our customers with the proper cams to keep the screw machine industry competitive and viable.
