Founded in 1945, Williams Cheese manufactures and packages original cheese spreads, pasteurized cheeses, dips, dressings, smoked cheeses and gift packages under the Williams and Amish County brand names. It markets its products through retail outlets and its Web site. The company s natural cheese products include Colby longhorn and jack, mild through extra-sharp Pinconning, mild through extra-sharp whole and shredded cheddar, baby Swiss, red wax hoop cheese, cream and dill havarti, limburger, jarlsberg and whole and shredded mozzarella. Flavored cheeses include hot jalapeno pepper, green onion ranch, sharp and creamy, garden vegetable, horseradish, garlic, green olive, spicy beer cheese, chipotle pepper and reduced-fat hot pepper. The company also markets a line of smoked cheeses, including smoked Swiss, cheddar and jalapeno. Its cheese spread products include horseradish, Pinconning, buffalo blue, sharp and jalapeno cheddar, cheddar with garlic and herbs, creamy Swiss with almonds, white cheddar with green olives, smokey bacon and cheddar and pasteurized horseradish. Williams Cheese maintains its headquarters and production operations in Linwood, Mich.
