Walled Lake Northern High School

Located in Commerce, Mich., Northern High School is operated by the Walled Lake Consolidated School District. The high school serves more than 1,600 students in grades nine through 12 and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. Its academic courses include business, English, fine and performing arts, mathematics, physical and health education, science, social studies and world languages. It offers various extracurricular activities, such as art, poetry, book, chess, Spanish, scuba, French and German clubs, the National Honor Society, choir, forensics team, theater, yearbook and jazz band. The high school provides various facilities, including media and counseling centers, laboratories, library, cafeteria and a school store. It also provides a variety of athletic activities, such as basketball, cheerleading, football, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, bowling, skating, gymnastics, hockey, skiing, volleyball, wrestling, cross country, baseball, softball and track.
