History

Victoria opened her doors in downtown Beulah in August of 2001 when she was 21. She always new she wanted to be a florist. She gradualted from Benzie Central in 1997. She said she has always known this is where she wanted to have her business. By 2004 the business had grown and Victoria's Floral needed more space, so Victoria's dad Greg Mitchell and his partners built the current location of Victoria's Floral at 7117 South St Benzonia. This allowed for much more room for gifts, a walk in cooler and the addition of a very successful business ran by Victoria and her husband Chris Mekas. Hill Top Soda Shoppe, where all the ice cream is made right there. A natural (as natural as you can get ice cream) product. They chop the chocolate by hand, sautee and roast the nuts, there is no corn syrup in their ice cream and no added hormones! After only being in business for 4 years in 2009 Hill Top Soda Shoppe appeared in the travel Michigan magazine, put out by midwest living, as a great scoop.

Victoria's Floral Design specializes in quality floral arrangements. Fresh, artificial, gifts, balloons, fruit and plants. We have homemade caramel corn, chocolates, and ice cream all made next door at Hill Top Soda Shoppe. We deliver to all of Benzie County and the surrounding areas including, Arcadia, Bear Lake, Bennett Barz Funeral Home, Beulah, Benzonia, Crystal Lake, Crystal Mountain, Crystal Downs, Copemish, Elberta, Elberta Life Saving Station, Frog Pond Village, Frankfort, Honor, Interlochen Arts Academy, Jowett Family Funeral Homes, Onekama, Paul Oliver, Portage Point Inn, Terwilligers Funeral Home, Thompsonville. We love doing weddings flowers, we also provide invitations and tuxedos for your special day. A very convienent place to pick up and drop of tuxedo rentals.
