Founded in 1950, Veldheer Tulip Gardens is a nursery located in Holland, Mich. It features more than 5,000 annuals, dahlia, irises, peonies, canna and lilies. The nursery serves homeowners, corporations, landscapers, garden centers, golf courses and government agencies. Veldheer Tulip Gardens has over 5 million tulips, nearly 50,op000 daffodils, approximately 10,000 hyacinths and more than 20,000 crocuses in a variety of colors. It also operates a farm that features over 15 American buffalo, including Wange and Nepa, identical twins certified by the National Bison Association. The nursery s gift shop offers wooden shoes and approximately 300 hand-painted Dutch pottery items.
