Bell Hospital, located in Ishpeming, Mich., is an acute care hospital offering a range of services to patients and their families. The hospital offers diagnostic and therapeutic services, such as X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, laboratory, respiratory therapy, nuclear medicine, general and ambulatory surgical units, coronary care unit and obstetrics with private birthing suites. It has more than 90 physicians on its active and consulting medical staff, with additional offices throughout the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The hospital provides behavioral services, including substance abuse, and gives mental health treatment on an outpatient basis. It also provides a full range of psychological services, such as family therapy, sexual therapy and counseling, individual and group therapy and psychological assessment. Additionally it offers substance abuse after care treatment; assessment; individual, group and family therapy; and co-dependency treatment. The hospital also offers occupational and sports health services.
