United Physicians

Located in Bingham Farms, Mich., and founded in 1996, Premier Physicians Network is a subsidiary of United Physicians, which is a physician organization of more than 1,900 independent doctors practicing in Southeast Michigan. The parent organization offers pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology services. It provides disease management services for diabetes, asthma, congestive heart failure and pulmonary disorders. United Physicians publishes articles that provide information on medication usage. The organization was founded through the merger of Beaumont Physician Group Royal Oak and Beaumont Physician Group Troy. It offers the United Physicians Health Insurance Program, which includes access to preferred provider organization and health savings account plans.
