Troy Athens High School

Athens High School is a division of Troy School District, and offers various academic and extracurricular programs. The school serves more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. The school offers more than 15 placement courses, and career and special education programs. Its curriculum includes arts and communication; business and management; health services; human services and public administration; industrial engineering and natural resources. Additionally, its courses include computers, health education, foreign languages, painting, theater, music, English, fine arts, accounting and television production. It offers a cooperative education program that includes business, and trade and union internship opportunities. The high school offers various athletic activities, such as football, basketball, soccer, golf, cross country, swimming, tennis, cheerleading, water polo, softball, lacrosse, track, wrestling and hockey. It also provides a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including band, choir, orchestra, literary magazine, mathematics club and peer mediation. Athens High School is located in Troy, Mich.
