Valaise Smith is the founder and CEO of Tried and True Financial Services, a Certified Minority Business Enterprise that educates entrepreneurs on the ABC's of Finance. She believes ACCOUNTING, BUDGETING and CREDIT building are the cornerstones to help entrepreneurs achieve their financial goals. With nearly 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Valaise is passionate about partnering with entrepreneurs who want to gain better control of their finances. She began her career as a bank teller but later pursued a degree in accounting and finance, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with high honors. She is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and holds the Enrolled Agent designation, allowing her to represent clients before the IRS throughout the 50 United States. She is also an Inaugural Scholar of the Goldman Sachs - One Million Black Woman Black In Business Program Cohort 1.
