Tom's Food Markets

Tom's Food Markets, formerly known as Deering's Market, offers a range of consumer products. Established in 1946, it administers ongoing training programs for the development of its associates' skills. The company is a member of Spartan Stores, which is one of the largest grocery wholesalers in the United States. Spartan Stores distributes more than 40,000 products, including meat, seafood, produce, frozen items, dairy products, general merchandise and health & beauty care commodities to over 450 independently owned grocery stores in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. Additionally, Tom's Food Markets is an official sponsor of the National Cherry Festival, which works to promote the cherry industry, as well as tourism and community involvement.
