Third Coast Surf Shop - Lessons, Rentals, and Camps

Now in our 15th year in business, Third Coast Surf Shop offers fun outdoor activities on Lake Michigan for the whole family. Great Lakes surf lessons - available one-on-one or for small groups of friends/family - are TCSS' specialty, and are available year-round. Sandboarding lessons are also available with our instructor at the local Lake Michigan sand dunes. Kids' beach day camps are available all as week-long or single-day sessions all summer long at New Buffalo Beach. Our instructors lead small groups of children in surfing, skimboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, sandboarding, and other fun beach activities on Lake Michigan. Advance reservations through our website are required for lessons and camps. TCSS also offers hourly kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals as part of our Third Coast Paddling brand. Customers can rent single or double kayaks or stand-up paddleboards at New Buffalo Boat Launch (across from New Buffalo Beach) to explore the Galien River.
