The Record Lounge

History

Opened in January of 2008 by Heather Frarey and Mark Voldeck after 3 months of opening Mark left and Heather kept it open. The Record Lounge has went through some cool changes since that time and will continue to grow through the years. We are now located in Reo Town neighborhood just south of downtown Lansing as well as the I - 96 freeway. We are just across the river from the 3 large smoke stacks by the GM plant. We have new and used vinyl as well as beautiful vintage stereo equipment and can special order anything that's available. We also buy and trade good used vinyl . We have a street level shop , and will be having local and some touring bands play often so watch the Facebook page for updates.our neighborhood is known for Saddle Ba ck BBQ , Reo Town Pub , The Robin Theatre, Good Truck in Diner, Reo Town Recording, Elm Street Studios, Sleepwalk er spirits soon, Vintage Junkies, The Nook and much more as well as numerous festivals

The Record Lounge is an all vinyl record shop located in the very cool up and coming neighborhood of Reo Town just south of Downtown Lansing. We carry both new and used vinyl as well as vintage stereo equipment, local cd's and cassettes, magazines and some t-shirts. . WE also have shows on certain Friday and Saturday nights from 7-10:30 in the evening so if interested please hit us up..
