The Barber Pole, established in 1949, is one of Birmingham's longest-running businesses, offering a nostalgic barbershop experience that has been cherished by the community for decades. Originally owned by Max and Marie Ege, the shop has seen several generations of barbers, including Keith Ege and his family, who have maintained its legacy of exceptional customer service.
Currently owned by Stephen Trachsel, who has been a part of the team for several years, The Barber Pole continues to provide top-notch grooming services in an old-fashioned setting. Despite the changes over the years, the barbershop remains a beloved staple in Birmingham, inviting clients to step back in time while enjoying modern amenities.
