Talking Dolls

Talking Dolls is a progressive art space located in northeast Detroit, dedicated to empowering the local community through justice-focused initiatives. The organization serves as a hub for artistic collaboration, offering artist studios, a gallery space, and opportunities for workshops, performances, and community celebrations.

In July 2025, Talking Dolls will host "Mubatanidzwa: Impressions and Connections Across Continents," an international printmaking exhibit resulting from a collaboration with the Animal Farm Collective in Zimbabwe. This exhibition highlights the work of Zimbabwean artists and aims to foster ongoing artistic exchanges between the two regions while supporting individual artists through sales proceeds.
