Dr. Stewart is a Mayo Clinic-trained, board-certified specialist in prosthodontics. This prosthodontic practice specializes in those patients who have had poor outcomes or experiences replacing missing teeth, or need reconstruction of broken down or worn teeth. We use 3-D digital cameras instead of impression trays to make crowns, veneers, and partial coverage crowns while you wait. More elaborate clinical needs most likely require return visits to complete the work. We also offer hygiene services for patients who desire our highly-trained staff to monitor their oral health progress, or for those who have been treated for prosthodontic needs at our office and have not been under the care of a general dentist. We treat patients with implant restorations (teeth) dentures, partials, bridges, crowns, veneers, bite guards, athletic guards, cancer obturators...many patients are self-referred and the remainder are referred by general dentists and other specialists.We fabricate ceramic restorations (crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, bridges, implant abutments/crowns, and custom healing abutments to local dentists and dental specialists in our on-site CAD/CAM laboratory. We have several prospective cohort research projects at our office. These protocols allow the review of clinical outcomes of many types of dental restorations. The outcomes data is discussed in yearly lectures to dental clinicians, students at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, as well as optimize the results for our patients.
