Stephen D Mendelson, MD

Dr. Stephen D. Mendelson graduated from the University of Michigan before pursuing his Medical Degree from Wayne State University. After graduating, Dr. Steve completed his residency at Wayne State University and a research fellowship at the Hadassah Hospital in Israel. Dr. Steve has a wide array of orthopedic expertise and is an orthopedic surgeon in both our Warren and Livonia Locations. Dr. Mendelson offers an alternative to the traditional hip replacement, called an Anterior Hip Replacement. He has a special interest in working with shoulders and emerging technologies for the treatment of orthopedic injuries. Dr. Steve serves as the Medical Director of the St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital Hip and Knee Unit.
