In June 2008, the cities formalized a long-standing commitment to cooperation and Community Policing, by signing the Walled Lake & Wolverine Lake Police Shared Services Agreement. Together, we are stronger. The tradition of excellence continues.As a combined department, we remain committed to a professional approach to law enforcement, one which actively promotes and protects the peace, safety, and well being of all who live, work, and play here. Merging the Walled Lake and Wolverine Lake Police Departments enables us to decrease duplication of service, increase efficiency, streamline operations, strengthen investigative capacity, augment training and equipment, enhance programs including drug education and awareness, and provide a more visible presence in the community.
